The goals of the National Film Preserve are:
The Telluride Film Festival is an international educational event celebrating the art of film. It exists to provide a stimulating international gathering, open to everyone, in which the lovers and creators of cinema come together to see and discuss the most interesting work of the past and the present.
A unique, joint educational, multi-program partnership to inspire the next generation of excellence in cinema and humanistic storytelling.
Two of America’s most important cinematic institutions, Telluride Film Festival/National Film Preserve, Ltd. and the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, are partnered in a series of joint educational programs in the service of diverse, global filmmakers, cineastes, film and video culture and our mutual cinematic archives. Our strategic partnership celebrates excellence in cinema by investing in the elevation and education of cinema and humanistic storytelling through our combined leadership and resources.
